Dear Tom,
I wanted to bring to your attention a bright cheerful MINI sales person you have working for you. I live in Galveston Texas and went MINI shopping the end of July. First, I spoke with my loan officer about my trade in value, and then went to Car Max. Next, while driving up to the nearest MINi dealership in Houston, I started to call other Texas MINI dealerships, to see if anyone would give me a phone quote.
Dallas stated they wouldn't do it; San Antonio failed to call back. Woodlands called back about seven hours later. But, Moritz MINI in Arlington, specifically Jim D, went to work immediately, phoned me back promptly, found out exactly what I wanted to know and made the deal over the phone with the most ease in car buying I have ever experienced.
I told Jim, what kind of MINI I was looking for and you had it. The chrome packaged and black racing stripes where not on it, but he quickly stated he could get it done the same day. I told him my main concern was fair market value for my trade in, and he went and got a phone quote for me immediately. The quote was four thousand more than Momentum MINI, and three thousand more than CarMax. I stated I would drive to Arlington, but wanted some guarantee before I drove six hours. He asked me to send pictures over the internet which I did. He phoned back and stated Moritz MINI would honor our deal. Within a few hours of first calling him, I bought my MINI over the phone.
Jim was very helpful, pleasant, hard working and honest. I was going to wait a month for a car Momentum stated they could get and take three thousand less trade in, but Jim made a believer out of me that he would make the deal and sure enough without any hidden agenda's, produced my new MINI, just like we had talked about.
Christy T.
